British Nutrition Foundation

A free bite sized course to support HAF providers delivering food activities

The British Nutrition Foundation has launched a free, online training course to help HAF providers deliver fun, safe and educational food activities for children.

Make, munch and more: Build a brilliant snack is a bite sized course, designed to support with delivery of the nutritional education element of the HAF programme.

The course includes:

• Everything you need to know to run a simple healthy snack making activity in your setting.
• A course booklet outlining the key content and providing a place to keep notes.
• A personalised certificate for successfully completing the course.
• A note for parents/carers to encourage them to make the healthy snack with their child at home.
• A celebratory certificate for the children.

The course takes around 45 minutes to complete.
