Drugs, Alcohol and Young People
Whilst most young people do not use drugs or alcohol, some may use drugs and alcohol at some stage during their childhood. This may be experimental in nature but may also include more regular use. All drugs, including alcohol and prescribed medication, have the potential to be harmful. Getting the right information is really important. The links below give details on where to find information, and where to get support if you are worried about your drug and alcohol use, or have worries about someone in your family.
Talking to someone you trust, for example your parents or carers or a teacher at school.
