Whilst most young people do not use drugs or alcohol, some may use drugs and alcohol at some stage during their childhood. This may be experimental in nature but may also include more regular use.

Children and Young Adult Service
The Newcastle Treatment and Recovery (NTAR) Service has a specialist Children and Young Adult (CAYA) Team: This provides specialist drug and alcohol treatment and recovery service supporting all ages and substance, providing confidential support for young people in Newcastle aged up to 24.Newcastle treatment and recovery is accessible to anyone living within Newcastle.

PROPS
