Promise Board

Newcastle Promise Board is a citywide partnership lead by Head Teachers to shape our approach to sector-led improvement.

Newcastle Promise Board is a formal partnership to enable schools to have a unified voice and to support a sector led school system.

Agreement on representation for the board was proposed by school leaders and is based on geographical school groups, taking account of pupil numbers.

Whilst not established as a specific legal entity or legal partnership, the Board shares a long term vision for the delivery of excellence in the education of children and young people in Newcastle.

We are confident that every school will support the statements of The Promise and will recognise the power of these words in helping us to frame and guide the work we do as we develop our models of joint working.
