Lunch & Learn: Recognise, Respond and Refer training

Make a Change (MAC) is a community-wide, early response approach to people who are concerned that they are using harmful behaviours in their intimate, or previously intimate, relationships. they aim to work directly with people using harmful and controlling behaviours, while also empowering the people around them to see themselves as part of the solution, and to work together to address the problem. It was developed by Respect in partnership with Women’s Aid Federation England.

They are delivering a training programme over the next 3 months. The training includes lunch and learn sessions, exploring how to recognise and respond to adults who are using harmful behaviours, as well as a 3-hour training session to look more in-depth at how to recognise, respond and how to refer.

All sessions will be facilitated by DA specialists from Respect and the Make a Change delivery partners Changing Lives and Harbour.
