Team Around the School (TAS)

A multi‑agency meeting that brings together school leaders, attendance officers, social care, early help, SEND practitioners and other key services to review children who are persistently or severely absent, on reduced timetables, or presenting emerging concerns.

TAS provides a structured forum to share information, plan coordinated support, monitor progress, and decide when additional pathways (e.g., LIP or legal processes) should be considered to keep children safe and engaged in education.
