Join this upcoming Youth Endowment Fund Virtual Learning Café exploring how children’s services can strengthen their response to extra-familial harm and serious youth violence for children in care. Building on recently published practice guidance, the session will provide a detailed look at one of the guidance’s key recommendations and the evidence that underpins it.
Delivered in partnership with Cordis Bright and Dr Claire Fitzpatrick, the event will examine the latest research, highlight implications for practice, and support leaders and practitioners to consider how effective safeguarding approaches can be embedded within local services.
This session will be of particular interest to Directors and senior leaders within children’s services, including Assistant Directors, Heads of Service, Principal Social Workers, and others with responsibility for safeguarding and corporate parenting. Register to learn more about the evidence, recommendations, and practical steps to help keep children in care safe from harm.
