As part of the NSCP series of Lunchtime Learning on Neglect, this session will consider the relationship between neglect and poverty in work with babies, children, young people and families. It will look at the context of poverty for many families across the city and some of the integral support available to reduce the impact that poverty can have. It will give practical advice and guidance around services and initiatives, as well as good practice guidance to support poverty-aware, curious work that focuses on understanding the experiences of children and young people and identifying and supporting families living in poverty more effectively.
This session will be relevant to anyone working with babies, children, young people and families across the city.
