Great to Relate Conference

Join Early Help in Newcastle for a full day conference, exploring many different topics surrounding relationships, including Reducing Parental Conflict, Solihull and Relational Practice. This interactive conference is one not to miss, with talks, workshops, networking, and stalls. Our guest speaker, Honor Rhodes OBE, is a trained as a social worker and has worked in both statutory and voluntary sector settings. She is currently responsible for the DWP funded Parents as Partners co-parenting groupwork programme, partnership developments and policy development work. Her particular interest is in effective interventions with families in trouble.

Some of the highlights are as follows:

  • Evidence around the harm caused by parental conflict
  • The impact of working with parents around their relationships
  • Why we can find it hard to talk to parents about their relationships
  • Tools, techniques and thoughts to help us work with parents
  • How the ways we already work (Relational practice and Solihull) approach can help us explore conflict between parents

Refreshments provided throughout the day and there is free on-site parking, everyone must register their car on arrival to avoid a parking fine, this can be done at registration.
