Diocese Seeking to Appoint Safeguarding Advisory Panel Chair
The Diocese of Newcastle Safeguarding Advisory Panel is looking to appoint a new Chair. This is a paid role for 10-12 days per year, to include 4 face to face meetings, per year in Newcastle.
The purpose of the role is to provide independent leadership and oversight of the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP), ensuring it fulfils its advisory, scrutiny, and assurance functions effectively. The Chair will work in close partnership with the Diocesan Director of Safeguarding to promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in safeguarding across the Diocese.
