Young Carers Webinar – Thursday 13 March

Young Carers Action Day is taking place on Wednesday 12 March. To mark the occasion, Newcastle Carers are holding various events for professionals and young carers.

Join Newcastle Carers for a powerful exploration of the experience of young carers in schools. You’ll gain useful and tangible tips on how to better identify and support young carers within school and education settings.

On Thursday 13 March, from 12.10pm until 12.50pm, you’re invited to join online for a friendly lunch-and-learn session. Throughout this session, you will have the chance to:

• Explore the topic of young carers.
• Hear about the wider support available.
• Learn about the impact on attendance, emotional wellbeing and progress of your young carers.
• Discover the importance of raising awareness among young carers across your staff team.
