The Year of the Adolescent programme is a joint initiative by Newcastle and Gateshead Safeguarding Children Partnerships. The programme has been brought about in response to partners telling us that they would like more support in working with young people who would be thought of as within the developmental period known as adolescence .
The programme includes a variety of online webinars and in-person learning events covering topics such as “The Adolescent Brain”, The Migrant Adolescent, School ‘Readiness’ and many more topics of interest to practitioners working with young people.
