SAFE is a new podcast from the Youth Endowment Fund, hosted by Ciaran Thapar, Director of External Affairs and Youth Understanding.
Violence continues to shape the everyday lives of too many children and young people. Nearly one in five teenagers reported being a victim of violence in the past year, and half said they had witnessed it. SAFE creates space for an urgent conversation about why this is happening – and how to prevent it.
Each episode opens with a simple but powerful question: “When you were a child, how did you keep safe?” From there, SAFE blends lived experience, frontline insight and rigorous evidence, inviting each guest to tell their story, reflect on what is going wrong and make the case for how to make it right.
