In recent years Newcastle Safeguarding Children’s Partnership has conducted a number of reviews involving children who have experienced harm in the community. This has included children who have been victims, those who have harmed others as well as children who fall into both categories. These reviews have been analysed thematically, establishing key areas of learning for practitioners in Newcastle. This briefing covers some of the main areas of learning which emerged across the various reviews undertaken.
