Challenging conversations are an essential part of safeguarding practice, but when emotions run high and perspectives differ, it can be difficult to know how to respond effectively. When handled well, these conversations can build trust, strengthen relationships and lead to better outcomes for families. This session aims to support practitioners to develop the skills, confidence and practical tools to approach challenging conversations with clarity, purpose and empathy.
This session is delivered jointly between Newcastle and Gateshead Safeguarding Children Partnerships. It is suitable for anyone working with children and families.
