Appreciative Inquiry Training (2 days)

Event Details
Improving practice and partnership working

Appreciative Inquiry is a strength/asset based approach that has wide applications, and is very supportive of positive team/organisation cultures and practice improvement.  The 2 days (9.15 – 4.45pm) will be engaging, interactive and experiential. The aim of the training is to understand the methodology of AI to then support learning and to improve practice using a solution focused approach.

This has successfully be used to date to:

  • improve communication, joint working and pathways between Adult Social Care, Children and Families and drug and alcohol treatment providers
  • improve collaboration to prevent violence against women and girls
  • supported individual review of suspected drug deaths, where there has been learning for a range of partners

The training is free although participants must have a commitment to support partnership working and future workshop facilitation (likely one per year for partnerships, although the methodology can be used as part of your organisational practice). Tea and coffee will be provided. Attendees will be expected to buy their own lunch.
