Domestic abuse support organisations
The House of Commons Library has published a list of contact details for organisations which assist people experiencing domestic abuse across the UK.
It is important to remember that the Domestic Abuse Act made law the automatic the recognition of children as victims of domestic abuse in their own right, if they see, hear, or experience the effects of abuse and they are related to the victim or offender, regardless of whether they were present during violent incidents. Partners might find this list useful when supporting children, young people and families experience domestic abuse.
