Event Details
Neglect can have a profound and lasting impact on a child’s health, wellbeing and development. This session will provide practitioners with a concise overview of the indicators of neglect and explore how neglect can affect children from both a physical and emotional wellbeing perspective.
Designed for professionals working with children and families, the session aims to strengthen understanding of neglect, increase confidence in recognising its signs, and encourage reflection on how these issues may present within everyday practice. Through exploring the impact of neglect on child development, participants will be better equipped to identify concerns early and respond effectively to meet children’s needs.
