SUMMARY:Trustee Training for Adults and Children
DESCRIPTION:This is a bespoke course for anyone who has a Trustees role within a voluntary or community sector organisation and will need to know how to ensure their safeguarding policies and procedures are robust. Please note\, dates are not routinely offered for this course as we work with individual organisations to agree how to best meet their needs. \nAims:\nTo provide an up-to-date overview of Safeguarding children and adults\, which will better inform your role and responsibilities as trustees/management committee members.\nTo gain knowledge of existing law\, policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding to help ensure your organisation is compliant and current.\nTo consolidate and deepen your existing knowledge so that you feel more confident and satisfied with regards to your accountabilities.\nTo provide practical advice and guidance to support your organisations with Safeguarding.\nThis supports:  Ensuring Safeguarding best practice within community settings. \nProvider/Trainer:  Newcastle Children’s Partnership and Adult Safeguarding Boards \nPre-course reading:  An understanding of your organisations existing safeguarding policies and procedures would be useful. \nClick here to book a place
